Libidex catsuit and corset belt

Libidex Ltd is one of the leading brands of latex clothing, and is internationally famous for its catsuits, hoods, lingerie and very well-tailored fit. Libidex was originally established in 1989 by designer Helen Saffery who started using her fashion industry experience to design and create garments out of what were then exotic materials, including latex, for the underground club scene. In 1998 the company was acquired by upcoming designer Simon Rose in partnership with Nigel Walker, and has since grown to be one of the largest latex couturiers in the business. Libidex has a very wide range of designs, and Simon launches a new collection every year. The company has worked with leading fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen, and has created garments for a wide range of celebrity customers, from Eminem and Emma Bunton to the English National Opera and La Scala Milan.

Libidex's collections can be seen and purchased at its shop in London's Covent Garden, Liberation and the company also sells through its own website.

In 2007, Libidex launched its own sheet latex company Radical Rubber, manufacturing and supplying latex to fashion designers and latex clothing makers throughout the world. Libidex has worked with its partners to produce a wide range of colours and effects in latex in response to demand from the latex fashion industry.
