Medical play is a form of BDSM play that revolves around medical themes. This frequently includes roleplaying as either doctor or nurse and patient. Many medical devices may be used, including catheters and enemas. Medical play may involve bondage, for example straitjackets. Examination chairs or tables provide a convenient means for restraining unruly patients. Breathplay may also be included under the guise of anaesthesia.
