Rubber Ghost (Shiny Films)
Rubber Ghost is a trilogy of films produced by Shiny Films and directed by Jo Hammar.
The three films in this series are:
- Rubber Ghost 1: The Conjuration
- Rubber Ghost 2: Bizarre Breakfast
- Rubber Ghost 3: Rubber Melody
The theme of this series is the self-indulgent development of a quartet of witches who engage their physical awareness through extensive latex clothing and lesbian interaction at their remote retreat, as well as their spiritual power range as they attempt to conjure the spirit of their dead leader, Elvira, to lead them on to ever greater power. Natalia's maid joins in the rubber sessions during the second and third film at the remote chateau.
Many have regarded this series as one of the fundamental specific rubber fetish films for its erotic focus and continuous storyline and creative camera work from Jo Hammar as well as the way it directly uses the latex costuming as an essential part of the story line rather than just as disposable costume addition or done in the manner of an exotic fashion video which were frequently done at that time.
It was also notable for the time as these films were created as a definite studio film production rather than just as a "hobby" filming in existing rooms, which can unfortunately be seen in the last film as Natalia accidently walks off-screen to join the approaching Elviria ghost and join with her, showing some of the lighting equipment on the set.
