Located just around the corner from the historic Löwenbrau beer hall, DeMask Munich has been a success from the moment it opened its doors. Once you step in, you'll see why. The store now has two floors with a total of 120 m2.

- IMHO the store is a dark jumble of stuff. Very difficult to actually browse the selection. We didn't feel a friendly vibe, the "help" wasn't very helpful. We left quite quickly....
- as written above, the shop is in the "kinky dark SM" (black and red) style, but the selection is actually quite large (especially in the kinky and/or female section), with the colourful bits well hidden (ask the staff for a colour combination of your choice). The staff also gives you the genuine German shopping feeling (the vibe thingy), but if you can do friendly small-talk in Bavarian or German warms up and becomes actually very helpful (generic hint for about any Munich shop where the staff looks local and seems unfriendly - might not work if you can't speak German or have a north-German accent).
