Jewell Marceau (born April 12, 1975 in Virginia Beach, Virginia) is a pornographic director, producer and performer who has been actively performing, mostly in fetish and BDSM film productions, since 1995.

Career

Marceau grew up in Virginia Beach in a conservative Christian family. She started appearing in girl-girl adult films under the pseudonym "Scarlett Fever" at age 20. She later changed it to "Jewell Marceau" when she began working with Harmony Concepts as they thought her original name was "a little too 'slutty.'"

Jewell maintained her "Scarlett Fever" stage name for her Devonshire Productions films until Simone Devon ended her company in late 2005. Jewell no longer uses this alias in any of her other productions nor on her own website.

Jewell has appeared in over 180 Hardcore pornography|hardcore pornographic movies, mostly with bondage and fetish themes, and been featured in a number of fetish adult magazines, such as Marquis and Skin Two (including the 2006 Directory cover, although hooded).

Marceau operates her own film production company and commercial website, and has worked with several notable fetish/adult photographers including Ken Marcus, Steve Diet Goedde, Mike Frankovich, Jr. (aka E.N. Cuire), Holly Randall and Christine Kessler. Jewell also performs with Isabella Sinclaire in the AVN Award winning "Ivy Manor" series for Gwen Media as the lead character, Jennifer MacKenzie, though has done no other roles since the restart of the Gwen Media company.
