Simon Benson

Simon Benson is the stage name of one of the most prolific bondage and fetish producers, artists and fetish film and web producers. His signature website Petgirls has been active for almost two decades.

Benson has been also noted for his extreme bondage presentations and scenarios that have been retained and used in American, European and Asian BDSM productions for more than twenty years.

Benson has been hired and used by a multitude of fetish producers including House of Gord, Shadowplay and Insex.

Benson has been known to directly develop the early BDSM careers of several notable performers including Petal Benson (aka Adrianna Nicole) and Petra Benson.

Since the early 2000s, Simon has been married to former fetish film performer Tigerr Benson with whom he still collaborates, though not as much as he did in the past.

Benson Books

Benson is largely considered one of the successors to artist Robert Bishop for his many BDSM and rubber fetishism illustrations. During the late 1980s, Benson made his first public illustrations for various underground publications. While working for House of Gord, Benson's artwork gathered a long line of consumers. In fact Benson's artwork became so well appreciated Gord began publishing a series of novels featuring Benson's artwork. The first of these Gord produced "Benson Books" is listed as Gord's "2477 AD" (part 1) dated 1992. The illustrations and extraordinary stories proved to be very successful for Benson and continued for five more episodes in this series alone and several other stories.

While Benson and Gord parted ways in the late 1990s, Benson continued to release more so called "Benson Books" with Marquis including the well-received "Silicon Valley Dolls" parts 1 and 2 and others. Benson also released his own illustrated collections including several anthologies including "Fetisch & Bondage Portfolio" and "Artwork 2000".

His last released illustrated book was "The Art of Benson" in 2006.

Supposedly Benson was considering using similar plots and ideas illustrated in these "Benson Books" in his own films. For several reasons including copyrights (on the Silicon Dolls) and limited funding, none of Benson's films used the extensive costuming and body modification scenarios from these Benson Books.

Bensonmedia

During his transition from hiree to independent producer, Benson created his own production company entitled Bensonmedia to release his own film productions and art works. Benson has released several production series including Yellowhore and Tigerrjuggs featuring Tigerr, "Her Life as a Pet" (taken from Petgirls.com) among others.

His independent film "Human Doll #1" (2005) starring Tigerr won the "Best Fetish Movie" award at the 2007 Barcelona Adult Film Festival. The film was supposed to have been a trilogy but no new films has been announced since this first film was released in 2005.

In 2009 Benson closed down the Bensonmedia shop and ended all non web based productions.

Bensonmedia was sparsely restarted in June 2014 as Benson released the latest in his Petgirls film series "Her Life as Pet" episode 15 but only available as a stream or download not on actual DVD at present.

No information was provided if the film would be released as an actual DVD and if other films would be released.
